One of the biggest tools we have to access current projects in our community is not available. Right now, the only way we are able to access records is a public records request. We don't know how long "temporary" is or when we will be able to get the information needed for updates.
Per Hillsborough County, "as part of our transition to Accela, we have temporarily restricted direct public access to all site, subdivision, and as-built records from 2004 to May 31, 2023, in the PGM Store (Optix)".

Please email the Governor and aides to veto SB180!
Florida communities could be blocked from rebuilding stronger after a hurricane, and more than 44,000 Floridians could see higher flood insurance costs this year if Gov. Ron DeSantis signs into law a new bill designed to help the state respond to storms.
Senate Bill 180 would freeze tougher rules for at least two years, potentially allowing developers to rebuild under the same codes that failed to protect property.

Subject line: VETO SB 180
Governor DeSantis,
Please veto SB 180.
It takes away citizens' rights to expect their county to enact better hurricane resistant building regulations and raises the probability of increased flood insurance rates for many at a time when insurance is a burden on Florida property owners.
The below article summarizes good reasons to veto this bad bill:
