Why should I belong to the Keystone Civic Association?
The Keystone Civic Association has proudly and zealously defended and
promoted our community for over 50 years.
Membership in the KCA makes you a part of one of the oldest and most active
civic associations in Hillsborough County. Did you know that we were
originally formed to keep the county from putting landfills and dumps out
here?
The membership of KCA isn't afraid to tackle the tough issues, from
protecting our well fields, wetlands and lakes to insisting that developers
uphold their promises to our Keystone-Odessa community.
As members, we have a wealth of knowledge at our disposal and willing folks
to turn to if we have issues in our neighborhood that we need help with.

Most importantly, membership in the Keystone Civic Association says that
you, too, share the values and the vision of many of your neighbors---to be
a part of a community that values nature above commercialism; dark,
star-filled skies at night above the glare of urban lights; and, the sound
of crickets above traffic noise. KCA members work together to promote and
protect our rural heritage and make our community a better place.
Our general borders are west: Pinellas County line; North: Pasco County line;
East: Veteran's Expressway; South: South Mobley Road. (For further
boundary clarification, refer to the Keystone-Odessa
Community Based Plan.) You need not live in the area to become a member, only an interest in
preserving the character and resources of this area.
Meetings are held at Keystone Park Recreation Center, 17928 Gunn Hwy., at
7:00 p.m. on the 4th Thursday of each month (except Nov/Dec). Everyone is
welcome!
